Robert Troell, M.D.Plastic Surgeon

Dr. Troell is director of The Center of Excellence of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery and The Center for Advanced Liposuction (Laguna Beach, Calif. and Las Vegas, Nev.). He is quadruple board certified by the American Board of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, American Board of Otolaryngology-Head & Neck Surgery and the American Board of Cosmetic Surgery. He was also the first surgeon to be board certified by the American Board of Sleep Medicine. He completed his residency in Otolaryngology - Head & Neck Surgery and his fellowship training at Stanford University Medical Center. In his private practice, along with his colleagues at Facial Reconstructive Surgery, Dr. Troell has pioneered numerous facial plastic, snoring and sleep apnea upper airway reconstructive surgical procedures, including getting radiofrequency tissue reduction FDA approved in 1997. He has published fifteen book chapters, nearly forty peer-reviewed medical article publications, and has been a guest lecturer in over 140 presentations throughout the U.S. and abroad.
